GRACIOUS in defeat, Billericay Town boss Jamie O'Hara insisted Mark Cooper's Forest Green paid his part-time minnows the ultimate respect.
League Two table-toppers Forest Green were too hot to handle for the National League South side as three goals in eight-minutes saw Cooper's side canter to a 4-0 FA Cup first-round victory, leaving O'Hara to pragmatically dissect the result at the New Lawn.
O'Hara said: “He (Cooper) played his strongest team and that showed the respect that we've earned.
“Forest Green are top of League Two and are a proper outifit with proper players and they've got a lad (Jack Aitchison) from Celtic.
"For 35 minutes we did everything right and we frustrated them, but it was an eight-minute mad spell with us just falling apart."
