Frampton United moved into second after a 4-0 County League victory at home to Ruardean Hill Rangers, writes Ron Holpin.

Josh Loveridge's side started brightly. Nathan Dennis having an effort on target cleared of the line early on and Fraser Wilson’s long-range shot being pushed around the post on 38 minutes. Fin Blythe opened the scoring in the 50th- minute with a 25-yard free-kick that flew into the top corner.

Rangers had a great chance to level from the penalty spot but keeper Aaron Taylor brought of a great save to deny Luke Johnson.

Frampton got a second when Rangers' keeper brought down Ryan Ford and Ryan Vincent scored from the spot. On 72 minutes Stuart Maule sent a defence-splitting pass through for Vincent to make it 3-0. It turned into four on 86 minutes when Dennis scrambled the ball home from a free-kick.
