YATE’S position at the wrong end of the table is causing concern after they slipped to their fourth straight league defeat.
The home side nosed ahead on two minutes. Hisham Kasimu muscled his way through and went beyond Adam Forster before rolling the ball into the inviting net.
Forster did well to deny Sam Griffin as Blackfield & Langley started the second-half on the front foot.
Kasimu got his second of the game after Yate failed to defend a corner.
Yate responded as the clock ticked with substitutes Aysa Corrick and Sam Bell both testing Lewis Noice.
Yate’s late spell of pressure continued Corrick was denied by Noice. Yate captain Nick Peare hit the post and Sam Kamara had an effort blocked on the line.
Yate now have back-to-back home games starting with the visit of Taunton Town on Saturday and Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday.
