BRISTOL CITY midfielder James Morton has been recalled from his loan spell at Forest Green Rovers.
The 20-year-old midfielder made 17 appearances in all competitions for Mark Cooper's side, helping the Gloucestershire side fight for a place around the Sky Bet League Two play-offs. He made four four assists in that time, and scored an important penalty versus Charlton Athletic.
Morton signed a four year contract with City, with the option of a further 12 months, in September having spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Bath City, where he scored one goal and notched 12 assists in 50 appearances, en route to helping the Romans reach the Vanarama South play-offs.
Morton follows in the footsteps of Jojo Wollacott who has also been recalled from Rovers this week.
