County League
Rockleaze Rangers 2
Frampton United 3
JOSH LOVERIDGE'S Frampton United have a knack of scoring late goals as they rocked Rockleaze Rangers, writes Ron Holpin.
Rangers took a five-minute lead against the league leaders when Toby Walwin’s shot was saved by Aaron Taylor but Toby Webb followed up to score.
On 30 minutes Taylor brought off a superb save from Toby Webb’s shot that was heading for the top corner the keeper just managed to flick it over the bar. Frampton’s luck was in three minutes before the break when Ryan Vincent’s shot struck the post and struck keeper Lewis Brodie on the back and finished up in the back of the net.
Rangers retook the lead on 75 minutes when Toby Webb got behind the United defence and crossed for Jordan Dent to slip it into the net.
Jordan Dent was very unlucky when he saw his chip over Taylor drift just past the post.
Then came the late finish from Frampton, firstly Steve Jackson levelled the score on 91 minutes after Brodie had parried the first shot on goal and then Fraser Wilson grabbed the winner in the 94th minute after Fin Blythe set the chance up.
