BOSS Paul Britton lauded the impact made by his quartet of Bristol City loanees after Yate Town made it seven points from a possible nine as their survival quest gathers momentum.

A rampant Town proved too strong for table-toppers Chesham on Tuesday with two City loanees playing their part with three goals in a shock 4-1 win. Sam Bell maintained his red-hot form with a brace and Tommy Conway was also on target. Joe Guest added to the goal glut.

And Britton has been boosted by the news that Bristol City’s Brian Tinnion has agreed to let the loan quartet of Bell, Conway, Joe Low and Jamie Taylor stay at Lodge Road until the end of the season.

“They’ve had a big impact with the work-rate and their enthusiasm,"stated Britton.

“They’ve really embraced the atmosphere at Yate and are doing really well.”

Yate welcome Poole Town on Saturday and Britton hopes his side can maintain their recent form.

“There’s no sense of being down, we’re still fighting the cause and staying up is the aim.”
