BRISTOL CITY loanee striker Sam Bell made it seven goals in six games for Yate Town as he helped his side post a vital victory in their fight against the drop.
Paul Britton's rejuvenated side shocked play-off chasing Swindon Supermarine 2-0 at The Jelf Stadium on Tuesday night.
Red-hot Bell,17, opened the scoring on 24 minutes- latching onto an exquisite pass from Nick Peare to finish with aplomb to continue his rich scoring vein.
Earlier, high-flying Swindon Supermarine started brightly as Henry Spalding had a fine attempt blocked by the outstanding Adam Forster in goal before the follow up effort that fell to Joe Shepherd was nodded over.
Early pressure counted for nothing, though, as Bell nosed Yate ahead.
The other side of half-time, Marine had a goal chalked off following discussion between the referee and linesman.
Understandably frustrated, Marine conceded a second on 61 minutes when Aysa Corrick headed home at the far post from a Bell delivery.
Yate travel to Metropolitan Police on Saturday, 3pm.
