Forest Green Rovers have today agreed to mutually terminate the contract of Lloyd James with immediate effect.

Rovers pipped League Two rivals Swindon Town to the signature of the midfielder from Exeter City for an undisclosed fee back in July 2018.

The 32-year-old made 41 appearances for the club, and spent part of this season on loan with National League side Torquay United.

A club spokesman said: "Everyone at FGR would like to thank James for his contribution to the team and wish him the best with his next move."
