Thornbury Town Reserves 4-2 Patchway Town Reserves
Thornbury Town Reserves made it two wins in a row as reserve team football returned to the Mundys after 197 days.
Thorns battled hard in the early stages and Harrison Young opened the scoring following a delightful 60 yard ball from Tom Clare
The home side extended their lead when Henry Bennett broke down the right and found Young who squared it across to Cam Drew at the back post who had a tap in to make it 2-0.
The visitors got a goal out of nothing on the stroke of half time when long ball forward was not dealt with by the Thorns defence.
Town netted a third when Drew’s corner fell to Clare at the back post who smashed the ball home.
Tom Manley came on to make his debut and he made an instant impact when he scored a goal with his second touch of the ball.
Dan Da Silva got into space down the left, found Young in the box with a cross who laid it off to Manley to drill into the bottom left corner from 20 yards.
Patchway scored the final goal of the game with a header from a cross from the left.
