FOREST GREEN have signed striker Ross Dyer, while Reece Styche and Mike Fowler have agreed new deals to remain at the club.

Dave Hockaday has swooped to capture Dyer, 22, from Hednesford Town, where he scored over 70 goals in the past three seasons.

He was a target for the club in the last January transfer window, but his then parent club declined Forest Green Rovers offer.

Now out of contract, Rovers will have to agree a compensation fee with the Staffordshire club.

Welsh midfielder Fowler is keen, after missing last season through injury, to return some loyalty to the club and is looking forward to pre-season training which starts on July 1.

Styche, who joined Rovers in January from Chasetown, confirmed he turned down several other offers, including one from a Football League club, before signing a new contract.
