FOREST Green striker Reece Styche achieved his England dream.
Rovers' ace marksman made his England C bow as a second half substitute for Paul Fairclough's team who were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Portugal in ICT Final at Northampton Town on Thursday.
Styche came on in the 71st minute in an England side that also featured former Forest Green striker Andy Mangan.
Styche said:"I loved every moment and to hear the national anthem was a very proud moment for me.
"I was pleased with what I did when I came on and I created a late assist at the end."
Styche is now preparing for Forest Green's half-time penalty shoot during Gary Neville's testimonial match against Juventus on Tuesday.
He said: "Our squad are buzzing about be given the chance by our chairman Dale Vince, to step out onto Old Trafford at half-time and take penalties against Manchester United at the Theatre of Dreams."
