IN division three the Haymakers looked to have their away game against the Colombians well in hand 11 pins up after six legs.

However, they slumped to a 37, seventh leg leaving them three behind but they kept their nerve on the last leg and got home by three pins.

Harry Edwards had the Haymakers only spare in his 51 while Dan Grove finished strongly for the Colombians for 52.

In division four Rockhampton Rams scored an important home win over division leaders Slimbridge LSC.

At 13 adrift after four legs they fought back with spares from Mike Tyler and Will Cartlidge and even a last spare from Dave Stayte of Slimbridge LSC wasn't enough to stop the Rams taking the game by six pins.

In division five Munch Bunch scored a good 448 in their win against the Casuals at the Mariners. Helen Dean had their only spare in her 51 while Brian Tovey top scored with 66.

Hayley Smith was the best for the Casuals with 57 continuing her good season.
