Records tumbled on Great Britain’s greatest Winter Olympic day – the snow and ice equivalent of ‘Super Saturday’.
Lizzy Yarnold became the first British Winter Olympian to successfully defend her title, while Izzy Atkin was the first Briton to win an Olympic medal on skis.
Add Laura Deas’ skeleton bronze and another bronze for Dom Parsons in the men’s skeleton on Friday, and Great Britain have equalled their previous best record of four medals at a Winter Games with a week to spare.
Press Association Sport takes a look at how the memorable day unfolded.
